Having plenty of time during the Covid-19 year of 2021, I decided to learn something new, improve my technique, and broaden my musical horizons. And so I thought maybe that Bach’s Cello Suite no.1 in G major might be a big enough challenge to keep me busy, which it did for sure. The big interval jumps, a fast tempo, and phrasing tested my abilities. I managed to do this with the financial support of the Slovak Arts Council. And here is the result.
